For saying this you may go home happy.
The devil has gone out of your daughter.
How can we emerge from sickness’ valley.
And put disease to the slaughter.

A fourteen year old girl.
A remote grotto.
A vision of a pearl.
Mary aglow.

A small event.
Untold consequence.
Millions sent.
Seeking cognisance.

Candlelight on the river.
Of God a Marian sliver.
