The doors being locked.
The disciples were in fear.
How often do we worry about being mocked.
Where is danger , we ask, is it near.

Jesus came.
And stood among them.
He is here now, just the same.
Amongst us , me you and them.

Thomas said , unless I can place my hand in his side.
I will never believe.
We will never put our hand in his side.
Yet almost reluctantly , we believe.

We are blessed because we believe .
Although we have not seen , we believe.

Will he come and stand with us
Yes it we believe
