God saw that the light was good.
And God separated the light from darkness.
God saw everything that he had made and it was good.
For in him there was no spiritual darkness.I am at Tenebrae , the shadows of darkness .
And at the end we hear the strepitus signifying earthquake.
The extinguishing of the candles lead us into darkness.
The noise follows Christ’s death and the earthquake.

Later in the Vigil.
We started in darkness.
We lit our candles in the quiet still.
And at the Gloria all was brightness.

Thus we followed Christ’s journey.
And one day this will be our journey.
