You are the salt of the earth.
But if has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored.
Then there is only dearth.
But we remain called.

You are the light of the world.
A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Our faith  is never furled.
We are bidden.

People do not light a lamp.
And put it under a basket.
We seek to climb faith ‘s steep ramp.
Before we even think of entering our casket.

We put our light on a stand.
This is where we stand.
