Who is this about whom that I hear such things.
And he sought to see him.
How will we take to our wings.
Do we really know him .

Herod the Tetrach was mildly curious.
Just as we take a little interest.
I think often we are rather incurious.
We have so much else of interest.

The only way to know him is to pray.
To try to know him more.
To do so every day.
And to seek him to our core.

Will we do better than the tetrach did.
But we do not really  know what he did.

…..

We all hear such things
We all seek to hear about him
But so do we pray
