Love righteousness.
You rulers of the earth.
Think of the Lord with uprightness.
People of the earth.

Ever wanting, obsessed with our ego.
But what are we , mere fleeting brain currents.
Here this minute, part of nature’s incessant flow.
Fate laughing at our puny attempts.

Are we really an individual.
Or a mere drop on a flowing tide.
Do we leave any thing residual.
Or merely caught in mortality’s ride.

No, we continue to spiritually hope.
And that’s why we do more than just cope.
