Behold the lamb of God.
Who takes  away the sin of the world.
He is sent as a sacrifice by God.
And his sacrifice will redeem the world.

This is he of whom I said, after me.
Comes a man.
Who ranks before me.
Because he was before me or any man.

Before lambs were sacrificed.
Then Jesus came.
And the son of man was to be sacrificed.
And redemption for all mankind came.

This at last was a sacrifice.
That would  for all time suffice.
