Jesus withdrew with his disciples.
And a great crowd followed.
The first of many peoples.
Their faith in him hallowed.

I stood alone in the church darkening.
Faith reviving.
I felt a heavy presence descending.
Illuminating, comforting.

These moments so few.
So lovely, inspiring.
Heaven in lieu.
Welcoming.

God is present.
If we just stay in the present.
