Why does your teacher eat.
With tax collectors and sinners.
How will we ever arrive at his seat.
Or become worthy followers.

We dare to follow Jesus.
Despite our imperfect nature.
We know he will always be with us.
We of so little stature.

We eat with him.
We drink with him.
We pray with him.
We are a part of him.

We sinners.
Grateful seekers.

He eats with sinners
And now we can eat with him
Now and for always
