The bush was burning.

But it was not consumed.

Thus it is with our spiritual yearning,

Nothing is certain, nothing can be assumed.

I will turn aside to see this great sight.

Why the bush is not burned.

We too search for light.

We hope our faith is not spurned.

The burning bush is a parable.

Our body is slowly dying, but our soul will live.

This is no fable.

Ultimately we will thrive.

Bless the Lord, my soul.

Bless the Lord , your soul.
