They saw Jesus walking on the lake.
And coming near the boat.
He did this for our sake.
That we too on life’s ocean stay afloat.

They were frightened.
But he said to them do not be afraid.
Are we enlightened.
Or just afraid.

Was this just a trick of the light.
What did they really see.
Will these miracles put us right.
What do we really see.

We will never see him walking.
But we just keep hoping.

Walking towards them afloat
And we believe this
