Love your enemies.
And pray for those who persecute you.
We don’t need to ask who are our enemies.
Or whether they persecute us or you.

If you love those who love you.
What reward do you have.
We don’t need to ask who loves  you.
Or what reward do we have.

We know we must love everyone.
But of course it’s difficult.
Who is everyone.
Are they really at fault.

So we keep trying.
And winning and failing.

Love your enemies.
And if they persecute you
But so difficult
