He said to his mother, woman behold your son.
Then he said to the disciple, Behold your mother.
We too , all of us, are his son.
And we can , all of us be his disciple.

Will we take him into our home.
Is he in our mind now.
And where does our mind roam.
High, farseeing or just low.

Like Our Lady , we have sorrows.
But with faith they will pass.
There will be tomorrows.
And another saving sacrifice in mass.

Mary stood at the foot of the cross.
We are now redeemed by that cross.

We stand by that cross
Just as Mary too stood there
And we are redeemed
