It was said eye for eye, tooth for tooth.
But I say , offer the wicked man no resistance.
Here is a truly difficult truth.
How hard is all real coexistence.
Perhaps we could turn to St Antony.
And read his gentle teaching.
He helps us to see.
He’s always understanding.
Are we like Ahab.
Coveting Naboth’s vineyard.
Are we in need of rehab.
Maybe we’re scarred.
Return to his teaching.
And carry on seeking.
