You worry and fret about so many things.
And yet few are needed , indeed only one.
How can we really warm our heartstrings.
Can we know when our race is truly run.
Perhaps we should be content sweeping the floor.
Prayerfully and calmly.
And not view it as a chore .
Just slowly and reverently.
We worry too much like Martha.
Can we not be more like Mary .
We try too hard with not enough inertia.
We are too fearful and wary .
Perhaps we should spend more time listening.
And less time seeking.
