Who will remain standing when he appears.

It is happening.

Soon he will wash away our tears.

For he is like the refiners fire.

And the fullers alkali.

Soon we will stand by the crib in the byre.

We will see with a new spiritual eye.

He will take his seat as refiner and purifier.

He will purify the sons of Levi and will  refine them like gold.

Of this promise we can never tire.

And all this has been foretold.

They have made the offering.

We are redeemed by his suffering.
