There, in their presence, his face was transfigured.
His face shine like the Sun and his clothes became white.
Their sight unlike ours was not blurred.
He became white like light.

He did this so that during his passion.
They would remember  this blessing.
But instead they cleared  with faces ashen.
Apart from John they didn’t stop running.

But we too forget the light.
Obscured by the world’s cares.
We neither have hearing nor sight.
We forget our blessings, but remember our tears.

One day we will climb the mountain.
And be forever certain.
