Peace be with you.
Have no fear, you will not die.
But perceptibly fear grew for you.
We are afraid, we cannot lie.

We are afraid of so many things.
We are wary of spouse or boss being cross
We are scared when time rings.
We are terrified of any loss.

We while away the long hours at night.
We realise everything has its terrors.
And they appear constantly in sight.
They seem encased in never ending mirrors.

But if we try and keep the Lord in sight.
Out of darkness appears new light.

The terror of night
Is dissipated by light
It is then the Lord
