St Mary Magdalene

On my bed at night I sought him.
Whom my heart loves .
But who is this elusive him.
Does his spirit fly away like the doves.

I gaze on you in the sanctuary.
To see your strength and your glory.

My burdens you will carry.
Freeing me from all vain glory.
Go and find the brothers.
And tell them I am ascending to my father.
And this  too is for  his sisters.
And his beloved mother.
And thus we meet but do not recognise.
But less we do, all hope dies
………
The sanctuary
Where we can gaze upon him
Is a place of rest
