Jesus said to his mother.
Woman , behold your son.
Then he said to his disciple , behold your mother.
And the disciple took her into his own home as a son.

Is there anything more loving.
Than this little scene at the crucifixion.
Jesus in agony remembering.
A final  family rendition.

Jesus knowing that all as finished.
Said , I thirst.
We too must know that this life will soon be finished.
And we should ask , for what do I truly thirst.

It must be for eternal life.
Not this passing life.

At the very last
Will we think of our mother
Or just of ourselves
