Wednesday of Week 15 in Ordinary Time

I thank you Lord that you have hidden.
These things from the wise and understanding.
And revealed them to the little children bidden.
With open non judgmental hearing.

Are we like children.
Or are we high and mighty.
Not ready to listen.
Intellectually proud. Haughty.

We’re too wise, we sometimes say, for all this.
Is it, we worry, mere legend.
But theres something we miss.
Have faith, this truly is the beginning and the end.
